Across more than 50 years on the road and an extraordinary 8,000 live performances, Hans Theessink has become a true institution of acoustic blues. His unmistakable fingerpicking and slide guitar, deep baritone voice and natural gift for storytelling have taken him to major stages around the world.
Described by Blues Revue as “an international blues treasure” and by the legendary Bo Diddley as “one helluva guitar player,” Hans has released more than 30 albums and collaborated with an extraordinary list of artists including Ry Cooder, Dolly Parton, Arlo Guthrie, Donovan, The Dubliners, Richard Thompson and the Blind Boys of Alabama.
